ITHACA FISHING and CONSERVATION DAY!

Ithaca fishing day is coming up and fast... I am really looking forward to attending this event to expand my connections in the Ithaca Fish Fishing Community. I hope to learn more about the local waters and receive some basic knowledge on fly fishing as a whole.

    Gio, your blog and project progress look really good so far! I'm impressed with the consistency of your entries and I really like the photos and video you've posted. I see that you've posted recently and are keeping up, so that's good. Make sure in your posts to provide as many details as possible. Also, it's time to think about maybe doing some research and posting about what you learn. Could you do a post about all of the materials that you're using, including a picture of your materials? I really love that you took a walk with Mr. Mellander; your mentor meetings seem to be going well. Keep it up! Looks good

So,you know when people tell you learn from your mistakes! Well, their not playing! I was fishing then all of a sudden my line gets wrapped around my pant while in the water; I reach in the water to unwrap because I got worry about getting a hole in my waders.... Then I lose my balance the rod goes up and my fly goes straight in my finger! I thought it was a little ding until I looked like this.. But, everything was okay! I just had to get past the painful part pulling it out!
